Service Update

Enhanced Access & Same Day Access – Healthbridge Direct team has been working hard to improve this service for the patients in Redbridge, we are offering a mixed of telephone and face to face appointments with GPS, Nurse & HCAs. Our Hubs are based across Redbridge with a local Hub site based in each of the Primary Care Networks. We are pleased to inform you that, from Jan 24 to Feb 24, Healthbridge Direct has covered over 630 GP shifts, 60 HCA shifts & 70 Nurse shifts.  We have received over 700 patients feedback forms from October 2023 with 82% of patients rating their experience with our Service as Very Good/Good.

Spiro & Feno – We are pleased to announce our waiting time to be booked in to this service has reduced to 4-6 weeks from the date the referral is received to the first point of contact with the patient, with results being sent back to the Registered GP Practice within 7 days. We have been collating patient feedback which has been positive, and patients are happy this service is available locally in Redbridge.

Simple Wound Care – Since starting this service in October 2022, Healthbridge Direct has been working hard to ensure that the service is available at different locations across Redbridge to ensure all patients are able to attend. We now have 3 Hub sites for Simple Wound Care based in South Woodford, Gants Hill and Ilford. Our overall utilisation of the service has dramatically improved, and we are working hard to continue this improvement,
